What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that uses relaxation and focused attention to help access the subconscious mind. In this state, it becomes easier to change thought patterns, behaviours and emotional responses.

FAQs
Common questions about hypnotherapy sessions, how many sessions may be required, what to expect during your first appointment and how to prepare for a session will be addressed here.
What does hypnosis feel like?
Hypnosis is a deeply relaxing experience. Most people describe it as similar to daydreaming or being completely absorbed in a good book or film. You’re aware of what’s happening around you, but your mind becomes calmer and more focused. It’s a natural state that allows us to work with your subconscious more effectively.
Everyone experiences hypnosis differently, and may experiece it differently at different times.
Will I lose control during hypnosis?
No, you remain in control at all times. Hypnosis isn’t about being unconscious or made to do anything against your will. You can hear everything I say, and you can choose to come out of hypnosis at any point. My role is simply to guide you into a relaxed state where positive changes are easier to achieve.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on what you’d like help with and how long the issue has been present. Some people notice positive changes after just one or two sessions, while others may benefit from a short course of sessions. We’ll always discuss this together at the start so you have a clear idea of what to expect.
